Shiba Inu has continued to show its worth in the crypto market. The second biggest memecoin is now venturing into the educational sector as Utel University, an online learning program in Latin America accepts tuition fees in cryptocurrency.
The leading online university will also accept Bitcoin and 32 other cryptocurrencies, making it the first school in Latin America to accept crypto as payment via Bitso, a crypto payment platform.
Bitso announced the partnership with the educational institution on Twitter, tagging the official handle of Utel University.
Reportedly, Utel enabled tuition payments with cryptocurrencies on July 14. Therefore, students should use the university’s platform (SIU) to initiate their payments.
