Shiba Inu records a big win as top food companies, Uber Eats and DoorDash finally adopt the SHIB token as payment. This development came after both companies partnered with BitPay, a crypto payment platform, to accept digital payments.
BitPay announced on Twitter, and its official blog post that hungry customers can now use the dog-themed token to pay for DoorDash and Uber Eats food.
The blog post also added that users could order food at their convenience and wait for delivery at their doorstep. However, for SHIB holders to enjoy both companies’ services, they must use either of the following means:
- First, buy gift cards for food delivery services like DoorDash and Uber Eats using a crypto wallet.
- Secondly, use the BitPay Card to spend SHIB Inu and other cryptocurrencies like cash.
- Order food using Menufy or Takeaway.com and pay straight from their crypto wallet.
In addition, customers can buy gift cards with cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Litecoin (LTC), XRP (XRP), Dai (DAI), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Gemini USD (GUSD), USD Coin (USDC), and Binance USD (BUSD).

Shiba Inu’s Growing Influence
The second most popular meme token continues to develop after its launch in 2021. Additionally, SHIB developers and the community have been working round the clock to enhance the memecoin’s value through the SHIB Burn Portal.
Despite the present bear market affecting significant crypto assets, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, Shiba Inu continues to attract investors and businesses as its adoption rate rises.
In June alone, the dogecoin killer enjoyed a massive boost in address activities as it surged by 35%. As a result, the dog-themed token’s active addresses grew from 3,800 to 6,500 in the past two days before many crypto prices slipped two days ago.
The SHIB token is currently the 14th most valuable digital asset according to CoinMarketCap, and it is trading at $0.00001 after experiencing a 0.44% increase in the past 24 hours.
