Shiba Inu (SHIB) Can Now Be Accepted as Payment in Thousands of Restaurants in 65 Countries, as Restaurant Software Giant, Lavu, Allows Crypto Payments.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) and other popular cryptocurrencies, including several stablecoins, will now be accepted as payment at thousands of restaurants in over 65 countries.
This is possible due to the announcement of a new cross-distribution partnership between Lavu, a major global restaurant software and payment solution provider, and Verifone, a global FinTech leader and payment solution provider.
Lavu’s all-in-one restaurant software suite will be seamlessly integrated with Verifone’s FLEX payment solution as part of this strategic partnership, allowing millions of restaurants in more than 65 countries to offer a unique point of sale (POS) solution with multiple modern payment methods, including cryptocurrencies, to their customers.
The partnership is said to begin with the Verifone Engage e285 device, outfitted with Lavu’s tablet-based POS.
With Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and several USD-pegged stablecoins available, both groups of consumers can pay for goods and services using crypto wallets and other payment systems such as Alipay, Affirm, PayPal, Venmo, WeChat Pay, Klarna, Swish, and Vipps.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) adoption in the general public is increasing
Tag Heuer, the luxury watchmaker, previously added support for Shiba Inu (SHIB) and 12 other major cryptocurrencies on its US-based e-commerce platform on May 20.
Moreover, MotoRenn, an auto retailer, announced last week that they will now accept Shiba Inu payments for high-end vehicles via Bitpay.
