The CoinMarketCap Now Updating Terra USTC Supply Every 2 Hours

The Terra Classic Network to Stop Terra LUNC Re-Mints

As the community continues to be dedicated to its campaign to limit the asset’s supply by burning daily, cryptocurrency price-tracking portal CoinMarketCap (CMC) has started updating its statistics on the TerraClassicUSD (USTC) circulating supply every two hours to reflect current data.

Early on Friday, the independent, locally oriented organization Terra Rebels highlighted the development.

The Terra Rebels official Twitter account announced in a tweet, “In addition to LUNC supply updates on CoinMarketCap and Coingecko, USTC is now updating as well.”

Classy, a well-known Terra influencer and Terra Classic (LUNC) validator, highlighted the development and provided further details, including that the supply updates from CMC appear to arrive every two hours.

Ten minutes following the disclosure from the official Terra Rebels handle, Classy informed that “$USTC is now having its supply updated on @CoinMarketCap every 2 hours.”

Classy also provided a screenshot at the time showing the upgraded supply.

Data from Classy’s snapshot showed that there were 9.81 billion USTC in circulation. As of press time, according to recent data, there were 9,805,941,162 USTC in circulation.

In addition, there are currently 9,806,470,248 units available overall.

USTC’s circulating supply, according to data from CoinGecko, was 9.8 billion at the time of publication, albeit little is known regarding the frequency of updates for the price tracker.

As a result of ongoing fires brought on by the 0.2% burn tax, USTC supply is shifting over time.

This CMC development comes just two weeks after rumors that the well-known price tracker had started updating the circulating supply of LUNC to match staked tokens. Current data arose, as previously reported.
