TAG Heuer, the Swiss luxury Watchmaker, now Accepts Shiba Inu (SHIB) as Payment

Shib: the metaverse

Tag Heuer, the Swiss luxury watchmaker, is partnering with BitPay to accept Shiba Inu (SHIB) as payment.

So, if you live in the United States, you can now purchase your TAG Heuer with Shiba Inu (SHIB) directly from the brand’s own e-commerce platform.

Tag Heuer, the luxury watchmaker, has added Shiba Inu (SHIB) support to its e-commerce platform and 12 other major cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Dogecoin (DOGE), USD Coin (USDC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Dai (DAI), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Gemini Dollar (GUSD), Pax Dollar (USDP), Binance USD (BUSD), and Ripple are all supported cryptocurrencies (XRP).

The move follows the luxury brand’s observation of increasing the number of customers using digital currencies. According to the official website, US customers can spend up to $10,000 in equivalent USD value in cryptocurrency. However, no minimum purchase amount is specified.

On this event, Frédéric Arnault, CEO of TAG Heuer said:

“As a luxury brand, we had to ensure that our entrance into Web3 would meet our standards of excellence, and thanks to our nimble teams in-house and with the support of BitPay we are able to dive into this new financial world in the best way possible.”
