Shibarmy Scam Alerts, the official scam alert channel for the Shiba Inu ecosystem, recently issued three urgent warnings to SHIB enthusiasts. These warnings focus on growing scam activities within the community, including fake airdrops and wallet-syncing scams.
Two of the warnings are specifically aimed at scams promoting fake SHIB airdrops. In a recent post on X, Shibarmy Scam Alerts highlighted the presence of a Telegram group targeting members of the Shiba Inu community. The group’s administrators falsely promote SHIB airdrops, aiming to steal users’ funds. To counteract these scams, Shibarmy Scam Alerts urged users to verify all SHIB-related information through official channels. It strongly advised against falling for “Claim Your Rewards” ads. Additionally, users are encouraged to contact the Shiba Inu ecosystem team on Discord whenever they encounter questionable information.
Malicious Facebook Posts Targeting SHIB Holders
Furthermore, the channel pointed out malicious posts on Facebook designed to deceive Shiba Inu community members. These posts create a false sense of urgency, convincing potential victims they are missing out on free tokens. To avoid falling prey, Shibarmy Scam Alerts recommended that users avoid engaging with these fraudulent posts. It stressed the need to verify information, avoid “Claim Your Rewards” ads, and consult Shiba Inu’s official Discord if unsure.

In addition, Shibarmy Scam Alerts issued a stern warning about the increasing number of fraudulent websites urging users to sync or rectify their wallets. This scam technique aims to gain unrestricted access to users’ funds and sensitive information. The channel strongly advised against sharing private keys or recovery phrases and warned the community to avoid any messages asking for wallet syncing or rectification.
Shiba Inu’s Ongoing Commitment to User Safety
These warnings reflect Shiba Inu’s dedication to protecting its community from scams. Last week, Shibarmy Scam Alerts exposed similar fake airdrop scams on multiple Telegram groups, where scammers urged users to complete tasks for free tokens.
