The Shiba Inu Community has taken a significant step by burning an enormous amount of SHIB tokens, totaling 2,072,114,690 (2.07B), over the course of the past week. This was accomplished through 290 distinct transactions.
On March 17th, the Shiba Inu community saw a record-breaking burn transaction when KoyoToken sent 924,150,949 (924.15M) SHIB to a dead wallet in a single significant transaction. Since March 10th, KoyoToken has been a major contributor to SHIB token burns, having destroyed a staggering 4,631,179,336 (4.63B) SHIB across multiple transactions, according to data provided by Etherscan.io.

Past 24 Hours
Over the past 24 hours, various Shiba Inu Community-led burn projects have collectively removed 15,248,223 (15.24M) SHIB from circulation through 33 separate transactions, effectively eliminating them from the market forever.
In the last day, SHIB Super Store significantly contributed to the Shiba Inu burn by sending a massive 10,158,730 (10.15M) SHIB to the inferno address in a single transaction, using the official SHIB Burn Portal. Furthermore, through its Weekly Burn and Earn program, the project has rewarded the community with an additional 10.05 million SHIB tokens.

Despite the massive burn, the overall Shiba Inu burn rate has dropped by -61.26% in the last day, as 40,595,413 (40.59M) SHIB tokens were permanently removed from circulation.
