Shiba Inu marketing lead Lucie recently emphasized the importance of the upcoming play-to-earn (P2E) game, Shiba Eternity. She stated that the game will be a significant milestone for Shibarium, SHIB and BONE. Lucie also shared a short clip showcasing Shiba Eternity’s gameplay, generating excitement among the community.
Key Features Of Shiba Eternity
Lucie highlighted several features of Shiba Eternity, particularly its integration with Shibarium. Currently, Shiba Eternity exists only as a mobile version. However, developers are working to transition it to the blockchain. Lucie noted that integrating Shiba Eternity with Shibarium will revolutionize digital gaming and ownership. She cited Shib Games’ lead, Angel, who stated, “Shiba Eternity will be our first game to run on Shibarium fully. This game will be a big step forward.”

The marketing lead also outlined the benefits of Shiba Eternity for Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens. She mentioned that every transaction on Shibarium will utilize BONE, leading to the burning of SHIB. Additionally, other Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens will benefit from the game’s transition. BONE serves as Shibarium’s official gas fee token and will be used to pay transaction fees across all Shibarium-based projects, including the Web3 version of Shiba Eternity. Shibarium aims to burn SHIB using a portion of gas fees obtained from each transaction.
NFTs And Unique Game Cards
Lucie revealed that upon integration with Shibarium, Shiba Eternity’s cards will become non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Players can store these NFTs in blockchain wallets and trade them on the upcoming Shib marketplace. She emphasized that all of Shiba Eternity’s cards will be unique, enhancing their value and appeal to traders. The blockchain version of Shiba Eternity will feature a new and improved interface, a revamped reward system, and a new tournament format to enhance the gaming experience.

Shiba Eternity is nearing its launch, with closed-beta testing for its Web3 version scheduled for the third quarter of the year. Only community members who have staked LEASH tokens or hold certain NFTs will access this testing. Lucie also mentioned that loyal players transitioning from the Web2 version to the Web3 iteration will receive a special welcome gift pack. The exact date for the closed beta testing remains undisclosed. After the closed beta, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team will grant public access to the testing.
