Shiba Inu is slowly bringing its game to life after the lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, stated that he wants to hold a tournament for Shiba Eternity.
This development comes after the game has been released for testing as more players get the hang of it. With servers increasing 50 times to match demand, the hype around the game could translate into a thriving competitive scene.
As the launch date draws closer, here is all you need to know about the upcoming game.
More About the Shiba Eternity Tournament
Shytoshi Kusama shared his thoughts on the SHIB ecosystem, especially on the upcoming game, during a Shiba Inu Discord session, and several listeners agreed that holding a tournament would be great.
The developer stated:
“I want to have tournaments where we give back.”
As for the giving back, while this is pure speculation, it could see successful tournament winners rewarded with SHIB, BONE, NFTs, or anything else in the Shiba ecosystem. However, this could be more suitable for the blockchain version of the SHIB game.
However, the tournament is still an idea because the game is still in its testing phase in Vietnam. Consequently, players would require more time to understand the gameplay before any tournaments are created.
David Gokhshtein Urges Shiba Inu to Hit $0.01
In recent news, David Gokhshtein tweeted his desire for the dog-themed memecoin to reach $0.01. The former politician and entrepreneur said SHIB “should do him a favour” and soar towards $0.01.
In an earlier tweet, he stated that the memecoin has the potential to surge exponentially. That happened after SHIB soared by nearly 40% a few days ago. Unsurprisingly, Gokhshtein has been enthusiastic about SHIB, posting supportive and bullish tweets this year.
In April, however, the former politician tweeted that he sees Shiba reaching $0.001 but not $1. He also added that many people would enter Bitcoin and Ethereum via SHIB. Before that, he tweeted the same about Dogecoin.
