Shytoshi Kusama, the project’s principal developer, has revealed a big milestone for the cryptocurrency with a canine motif in a new blog post. According to Kusama, Shiba Inu is the happy title sponsor of the ETHToronto, ETHWomen, and Blockchain Futuristic Conference hackathons.
Notably, the conference will occur August 15–16, 2023, in Toronto. Kusama stated:
“I think this is a pretty big undertaking. This level of sponsorship puts us in line with major exchanges and projects and strengthens our position as a major player in cryptocurrency.”
It’s important to note that the occasion falls on Shiba Inu’s third birthday. Shiba Inu wants to highlight its inventions and contributions to the industry as the event’s headline sponsor.

Shiba Inu to Exhibit the Completed Version of its Worldpaper
According to Kusama, Shiba Inu will display the finished edition of the eagerly awaited worldpaper. It is important to note that the Worldpaper discusses several features of the cryptocurrency, including information about the ecosystem tokens SHIB, BONE, LEASH, TREAT, and Shi.
“At this location, the completed Worldpaper will be exhibited. All Shiba Inu-branded projects will be published, and Treat will be published in detail for the first time,” according to the announcement. Additionally, Kusama suggested that Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s Layer-2 blockchain solution, might be discussed and potentially released on the mainnet.
Shiba Inu will Host Multi-Month Hackathon at the Conference
To put things in perspective, the fifth anniversary of the Blockchain Futuristic Conference will be this year. On August 15 and 16, the conference will occur in Toronto, Canada. More than 30 other cryptocurrency events are scheduled to take place throughout Canada Crypto Week, making this event its centerpiece.
The first ETHWomen conference and the second ETHToronto hackathon are notable examples of events. As part of the Blockchain Futuristic Conference, Shibarium will, according to Kusama, host a multi-month hackathon. It’s interesting to note that participants can enjoy a Shiba Inu experience from two booths specifically dedicated to the breed, a VIP Cubana, and SHIB-themed goods, services, and platforms.
The event will feature displays from well-known projects, including Unification, BadIdea.Ai, and others that have expressed interest in developing Shibarium. Today, BadIdea.Ai also announced the news in a tweet.

Reactions From Shiba Inu Community
Meanwhile, a key convention highlight will be Shiba Inu’s chief developer speaking virtually via AI.
“Also, for the first time, I will be speaking virtually (via AI) at a conference!” remarked Kusama.
Kusama also promised to reveal more huge surprises at the hackathon, including an after-party totally funded by Shiba Inu. Kusama’s blog article elicited significant responses from the Shiba Inu community, as expected. Lucie, Shiba Inu’s content marketer, took to Twitter to highlight her favorite aspect of the blog piece.
