Shiba Inu Lead Developer Advises Avoiding Shibarium Tokens Until Mainnet Launch

Keep Up With the Latest Developments of Shiba Inu's Metaverse

Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, has advised community members not to purchase any token or product offered on Shibarium during the beta phase of the layer-2 network.

According to Kusama, the tokens available during the beta phase of Shibarium are only meant for testing purposes. He strongly recommended that investors exercise prudence and avoid buying or investing in these projects until the mainnet launch.

“Don’t get scammed and buy anything you’ll find on Shibarium until the Shibarium main net launch,“

Kusama directed a message to the community in the most recent article of the ongoing series of Shibarium blog publications. These blog publications aim to clarify and explain the concept of Shibarium and introduce the upcoming layer-2 network to the public.

Furthermore, Kusama cautioned investors regarding their participation in projects developed on the Shibarium network. He highlighted that Shibarium is an open platform where anyone can build, and therefore, he advised community members to research any project before getting involved with it thoroughly.

With the launch of Shibarium approaching, scammers have been closely monitoring the network, particularly due to its significant social engagement. Recently, some scammers distributed fake BLUR tokens to prominent addresses and subsequently created a fraudulent SHIBARIUM token.
