Shiba Inu remains the main attraction to ETH whales despite the cryptocurrency market’s poor run in recent months. So far, the 14th biggest cryptocurrency in the world in terms of the market cap has become the top-ranked token held by prominent ETH whales.
According to WhaleStats, the SHIB token has emerged as the most significant token held by the top 2000 ETH whales. The data shows that these wallets hold around $608.6 million worth of Shiba Inu tokens.
XRP Whale Adds 20 Trillion Shiba Inu Tokens
According to Etherescan, an XRP whale transferred around 20 trillion SHIB tokens from Binance to its wallet, increasing the share of SHIB to 21% of the wallet and lowering the share of XRP by 5%.
The transfer is equivalent to $210.1 million, making it the single largest transaction ever in the history of SHIB. The whale is now holding 48.7 trillion SHIB. Therefore, in a record-breaking transaction, the XRP whale has now accumulated 20,000,000,024,240 SHIB, worth $210,105,912.
The 14th most valuable crypto asset is trading at an average price of $0.000010 as SHIB prices have increased by 6% over the past seven days. Additionally, the world’s second-largest meme token holds a market cap of more than $5.69 billion.
The giant whales’ interest is influenced by the recent announcement by the Shiba Inu. Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of ShibaSwap, declared that the Shiba ecosystem would launch a new reward token, “TREAT”, to replace BONE.
