Shytoshi Kusama, the leader of the Shiba Inu project, has raised concerns about the increasing presence of shadowcats within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. With ShibaCon 2024 approaching, Kusama emphasized this issue in a recent post on X, formerly Twitter. He expressed frustration over the growing number of shadowcats, noting the limited time he has to address this emerging threat before the anticipated ShibaCon 2024 kicks off.
Kusama first introduced ShibaCon 2024 shortly after participating in IVS Crypto 2024. The event, which will be Shiba Inu’s first global conference, is scheduled to coincide with DevCon 2024. While DevCon will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 12 to 15, ShibaCon will be held in the same city on November 10.

According to Lucie, Shiba Inu’s marketing specialist, ShibaCon 2024 will be a significant milestone for the SHIB ecosystem. She noted that the event is a must-attend for blockchain enthusiasts, especially members of the Shiba Inu community. are underway despite challenges from the shadowcats.
