A screenshot of Discord conversations between the Shiba Inu lead developer known only as Shytoshi Kusama and community members shared by Gossip Shib on Twitter revealed new details about the Shiba Eternity card collection game’s direction.
According to the leaked chat, Kusama is more concerned with the best possible outcomes than price speculation. However, the developer also emphasizes that the game is “SUPER strategic” and has great potential.
Notably, these new details will undoubtedly fuel the growing excitement in the Shiba Inu community about the game’s release. Kusama fueled the fire with a tweet earlier today of a Dragon Ball Z GIF typically used to express enthusiasm for the project.
More Information About the Project
It’s worth noting that Shiba Inu only revealed the game’s name last week, as the community celebrated the project’s second anniversary. Furthermore, according to the most recent information, the game would share many similarities with the popular fast-paced strategy card collection game Hearthstone, but with significant differences.
Notably, Gossip Shib believes Shiba Inu will release the long-awaited game in just a few weeks, at the end of August.
“I believe Shiba Dev stated that the first game will be Shiba Eternity, followed by Shibarium (Q3 – BETA around the end of September).”
While Shiba Inu only recently revealed the game’s name, it has been in the works for quite some time. Shiba Inu first announced the game’s development after announcing its partnership with Australian game developers PlaySide Studios in December last year.
The Shiba Inu team has been working to shake off the meme coin tag by creating more utility after reaching great heights last year through the strength of its community. The development team has launched several initiatives as part of this push, including the Doggy DAO and SHIB: The Metaverse.
Shiba Inu is currently trading at $0.00001278, up 2.96 percent in the last 24 hours and 9.56 percent in the previous seven days.
