Review Portal Compares Shiba Inu Tangem Cold Wallet with Ledger

Shiba Inu Whale Buys 1.5T SHIB Amid Volatile Market

Following numerous comparison requests from the Shiba Inu (SHIB) community, Nordic Crypto, a well-known review portal, has presented an in-depth comparison between Tangem and Ledger, outlining the fundamental differences in both hardware wallets. The top Platform highlights Tangem’s free storage capacity, distinctive security features, and user-friendly interface.

Notably, this review of the Tangem wallet compared to standard Ledger wallets comes after the wallet was updated with new capabilities and given a smart backup system after a recent giveaway of ten Shiba Inu cold storage wallets.

Tangem, one of the most secure storage alternatives available, takes a novel approach to security by physically storing private keys in a chip inside its wallet cards. Doing so removes the requirement for seed phrases, adding more defence against threats.

Ledger devices, on the other hand, rely on seed phrases to protect private keys, which can be recorded and stored separately. However, the user’s cryptocurrency funds are accessible to anyone who obtains the seed phrase.

More Significant Distinctions between Tangem and Ledger

The storage capacity is an additional noteworthy characteristic. Tangem wallets don’t have a storage cap, allowing users to store as many crypto tokens as they like without any limits, in contrast to Ledger wallets, that only have enough room to hold a few distinct crypto tokens.

Comparable to well-known wallets like Metamask in terms of usability, the Tangem wallet provides a more user-friendly experience with its mobile app. Transactions and actions can be confirmed by tapping the Tangem wallet against a mobile phone and inputting a password.

Ledger devices, on the other hand, need to be manually connected to a computer and verified using the Ledger Live application. Tangem has kept a spotless record since 2017, despite Ledger having a lengthier security track record since its founding in 2015 without any attacks.

In addition, Tangem’s durability stands out since, unlike Ledger devices with easily damaged screens, its waterproof, dustproof, and bend-proof card provides increased physical safety for crypto funds. Tangem’s built-in “Wallet Connect” feature enables users to easily engage with websites and connect directly to DeFi applications, which is impossible with Ledger devices.

Nordic Crypto prefers the Tangem wallet for its usability, security, dependability, utility, accessibility, storage capacity, and price. Although Ledger has a long security history, Tangem excels in practically all areas, offering crypto enthusiasts safe and affordable storage options.
