Playboy, a well-known and enduring lifestyle brand, is partnering with The Sandbox Playboy’s “MetaMansion” experience in The Sandbox will include gaming, social play, scheduled events, and ongoing digital collectibles releases that make use of Playboy’s enormous content library, incorporate Playboy’s network of talent, and bring Playboy’s coveted fashion trends and must-attend live experiences into the metaverse.
The Playboy and Sandbox partnership expands on Playboy’s creative Web3 work. With its genesis NFT drop called Liquid Summer, a collection of digital artworks made by reinterpreting art from Playboy’s archive, Playboy made its Web3 debut in the spring of 2021. Unfortunately, the Slimesunday artist-created Liquid Summer collection went out of stock in less than three minutes.
Playboy released its first significant NFT collectibles project, Playboy Rabbitars, in October 2021. Rabbitars and Sandbox LAND owners can participate in exclusive Playboy-branded activities in The Sandbox!
