In the last 24 hours, the Shiba Inu community sent a total of 216,301,162 (216.3M) SHIB to unspendable wallets via fifteen separate transactions.
The burn rate increased by 162.98 percent in the previous day, when only 83,335,225 (83.33M) SHIB were sent to “inferno” addresses in 9 separate transactions.

The Weekly Burn Events for 1Cent and ETH SHIBA, the two community-driven tokens dedicated to burning Shiba Inu, were held on Monday. These tokens have burned a total of 100,000,000 Shiba Inu tokens in two (2) significant transactions, making them the day’s top SHIB Burners.
1Cent Weekly Burn Event: On Monday, June 20th, 1Cent token hosted its Weekly Burn Event (Monday). The team behind the token removed a total of 52,170,994 (52.17M) SHIB in one significant transaction through this event.
According to their website, the 1Cent has incinerated 2,546,766,448 (2.54B) SHIB in 16 separate transactions since March 14th, 2022.
ETH SHIBA Weekly Burn Event: In addition to 1Cent, ETH SHIBA has scheduled its Weekly Burn Event for Monday, June 20th (Monday). The SHIB Burn project used the official SHIB Burn Portal powered by Ryoshi Vision to send 50 Million SHIB to the “inferno” address in a single significant transaction during this event.
Shibaburn.com, a SHIB burn tracking website, has also verified the transaction. ETH SHIBA was founded in March (3 months ago). Since then, the ETH SHIBA claims to have burned 2.45 billion Shiba Inu tokens.
