Following the debut of an upgraded version of the SHIB website, the Shiba Inu development team has continued to receive supportive comments. Shytoshi Kusama, the team’s lead developer, and other members of the Shiba Inu community applauded the website’s new design on Twitter.
Kusama praised Trophias and his partners today for the website’s updated look. He also apologised to SHIB holders on behalf of the Trophias-led website development team. Kusama claims that many people may have been led astray by the countdown to Shiba Inu’s new website into thinking the team was referring to Shibarium, an Ethereum layer-2 scaling network.
“Although not in control of that, I apologize for any confusion,” Kusama added.
Additionally, A Shiba Inu influencer named SHIB KNIGHT also showered praise on the group on the new website layout.
In response to the compliments, Trophias shared some upgrades that still need to be performed on the website.
“Hey ShibArmy, thanks for the incoming feedback on the website so far! We’ll be fixing some mobile issues that cropped up and to fix some embedded PDF’s that seem to be just too small to read. Keep the feedback flowing and we’ll capture it to improve going forward!”
It’s worth noting that the debut of Shibarium is said to be preceded by the update of Shiba Inu’s website.
Shibarium Delay Annoys SHIB Holders
Recent mysterious tweets posted by Shiba Inu’s official team members gave SHIB holders the impression that the beta launch of Shibarium was imminent. Shib Trophias, a key member of the Shiba Inu official team, tweeted earlier this month that a countdown to the debut of an unidentified project was underway.
Despite the lack of specifics being made known, the Shiba Inu community members assumed the countdown was for Shibarium, an Ethereum Layer-2 scaling network. A shared post by Trophias over the weekend suggested that the countdown was for Shiba Inu official website, not Shibarium.
While some SHIBArmy members have continued to express their support for the current website upgrade for Shiba Inu, others have criticised the team for the recent confusion caused by the countdown.
Shibarium Can’t Launch Without First Updating the Website, Trophias Says
Kusama was joined by Shib Trophias in responding to the irate SHIB holders over the postponement of Shibarium’s launch. Without first upgrading the official Shiba Inu website, Trophias claims that the team can’t introduce Shibarium.
Trophias announced this in a tweet today, claiming that the Shiba Inu team is aware of how furious SHIB holders are about the delay in the debut of Shibarium.
“As for Shibarium…we understand some may be upset as you were expecting an update on the much anticipated Shibarium. Realistically, we can’t launch everything all at once,” Trophias said.
He continued by saying that in order to launch Shibarium successfully, it must be done so cautiously and wisely. Obtaining a location to disseminate information and other updates was the top priority, according to Trophias, who added:“The site also is ever evolving and information will be added dynamically and presently at the will of delivery our way. It also conveys the first phase to what we hope will be a sequenced release of productive information to our upcoming release in coming days.”
