The big burn happened after an unidentified wallet unstaked 108,476,685 (108.47M) SHIB from the ShibaSwap DEX in a single transaction, according to data from Etherscan.io.

The unknown wallet staked these SHIB tokens on the ShibaSwap DEX on January 10th, and on the same day, this wallet bought them from a Coinbase wallet marked “Coinbase 10,” then today burnt them all.
The entire SHIB burn rate increased by 294.81% over the previous day due to this significant burn transaction.
However, the price of Shiba Inu did not appear to be affected immediately by this transaction.
Shiba Inu’s price was $0.000012 at the time of publication, down -0.75% from the previous day, with a $238,094,482 ($238.09M) 24-hour trading volume.
