CEO of DoNotPay, Joshua Browder Shares Procedures to Withdraw from Celsius Network Amid Withdrawal Halt

Celsius Network

Chatbot lawyer and CEO of DoNotPay has taken to his official Twitter account to share some procedures by which Celsius Network users can withdraw their funds under $10,000 to $25,000 amid withdrawal suspension by the platform.

This comes about two days after Celsius Network halted withdrawals and transfers amid an apparent liquidity crisis, as the price of Bitcoin plunged to pre-pandemic levels.

According to the young CEO, as of right now, these exchanges have not yet filed for bankruptcy protection. Therefore, they are subject to small claims court judgements.

“Small claims court cases typically take 1-2 months. As long as this drags on longer than that, this strategy will work,” he added.

The Withdrawal Procedure According to Browder

He then advised affected users to follow the procedure below to file for small claims;

The first step in filing a small claims lawsuit is to send a demand letter.

  1. The demand letter should say how much you are owed and why you think you are owed the money. For Celsius specifically, you should mail it (return receipt requested) to 121 River Street, PH05, Hoboken, NJ 07030 USA.
  1. After ten days, when they inevitably don’t respond, you can file a small claims court lawsuit in your local jurisdiction. @DoNotPay can handle the demand letter and filing for you, or you can go to your local website.
  1. Surely they don’t have the money after you win your case with a judgment? How can you actually get paid?
  1. Well, then you have a court judgment. You can go to every bank, office, and website domain to collect your judgment with a collection order.

In his closing remarks, he added, “The more quickly you do this, the higher the chance you will get your money. Once @CelsiusNetwork files for bankruptcy, the lawsuits and collection orders won’t work. Until then, this is fair game.”
