Cardano's Smart Contract Upgrade Being Incorporated By Exchanges

According to the latest developments published by IOHK, six cryptocurrency exchanges are actively working with the Cardano Foundation to integrate the much anticipated smart contract upgrade.

Cardano Wants Many Exchange to Be Alonzo-ready Before Launch

With Cardano getting closer to the release of the Alonzo hard fork, their numbers are expected to grow rapidly this week.

IOHK wants to make sure as many exchanges as possible have Alonzo-ready before the upgrade is deployed on the mainnet.

As Nigel Hemsley, Head of Delivery at Cardano explained, most exchanges need to join in order to achieve the required level of liquidity before the hard fork combination event:

“We do need the lion’s share…cause it provides us with liquidity before we do the hard fork.”

According to Fxcryptonews reports, Cardano’s smart contacts will be launched on September 12th.

Mike Novogratz Clarified His Position on Cardano

Mike Novogratz, CEO of Galaxy Digital, commented directly on Cardano’s position after another dispute with Charles Hoskinson, creator of the largest proof-of-stake blockchain to date.

Novogratz said he didn’t want the Cardano community to get sick, but added that there were better options.

In other words, the cryptocurrency billionaire lists Terra (LUNA) and Solana (SOL) as the layer-1 blockchain, which he believes are more beneficial than Cardano.

As reported by U. Today, Hoskinson called Novogratz on Twitter after Novogratz again questioned the spread of ADA stellar.

The former hedge fund manager inevitably became a target of the growing community behind the fourth-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.
