Hoskinson continues to highlight the distinctions between Cardano and Ethereum proof-of-stake (PoS).

Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, compared today’s delegation transactions with ghost transactions after a stake pool operator informed him the Cardano protocol does not consume network bandwidth.

“One could almost say that they are Ghost transactions…,” tweeted Hoskinson.

Will Ethereum Be Able To Replicate This?

It is worth noting that the number of delegations on the network has surpassed 1.2 million, as stated in a tweet by Rick McCracken of DIGI stake pools. According to McCracken, as a result, approximately 1.2 million transactions occur on the network every five days using no bandwidth at a rate of 4 transactions per second. In conclusion, the SPO is sceptical that Ethereum will ever be able to replicate this.

Notably, in the days since the Ethereum Merge, Hoskinson has made it a point to highlight differences between Ethereum’s PoS implementation and Cardano’s. The founder of Cardano recently compared Ethereum to the “Hotel California of cryptocurrency,” expressing concerns regarding users’ accessibility to the Ethereum staked in the Ethereum staking contract.

Hoskinson said yesterday that it is “fair game” to compare protocols, presumably in response to criticism from Ethereum supporters about his attack on Ethereum PoS. Furthermore, the Cardano CEO chastised core Ethereum developers for refusing to speak objectively about Cardano and promoting “bizarre” narratives about the blockchain.

It is worth noting that the Cardano network recently completed the long-awaited Vasil hard fork. Additionally, some new features for the network’s smart contract scripting language Plutus are expected to go live today, giving developers access to the full Vasil upgrade capabilities.
